Giving and Sharingwas an annual awareness campaign to highlight, honour and strengthen volunteerism and philanthropy through media and community partnerships in South Africa. Over the years, Giving & Sharing has thrived on sharing "goodwill" stories within the communities in the hope of encouraging the general public to take action and get involved. Lots of successful organisations have learned from this and taken the core principles of Giving &Sharing and succeeded in spreading the message and goodwill. If there is one wish that the Giving & Sharing Team has, is to have moved and motivated Individuals, Corporates, Communities out there about towards sharing the goodwill and making a difference in a person's life. It is about Giving of oneself and Sharing the goodwill throughout. Due to financial constraints, our wonderful NPO has had to come to an end, but our work is never done and hopefully the information below will be enough to motivate you further to make a memorable difference in people's lives.Remembering our source of inspiration for this organisation ... our Vision, and the words of the wonderful Steve Biko, and the hope he has left us with ..."Great powers of the world may have done wonders in giving the world an industrial look, but the great gift still has to come from Africa - giving the world a more human face."
