The colours of the logo are representative of the earthiness of Africa.

• Gold for the steadfastness of its citizens/people
• Orange for warmth and sincerity
• Yellow for the joy that is shared

The figures depict one person holding the other up high - an expression of raising the spirit of another person. Support the African way of life and the famous Xhosa saying,

"Umuntu, ngumuntu, ngabanye abantu" -
You're a person through another person or people.
